Some people seem to be making the mistake that you need to make a character sheet for a comic character that you didn't make up. Let's clear this up. If you want to play an already existing character like a Marvel or DC character, you just post an audition in the audition thread. If you want to play a character you made up, you post a character sheet in this board. You have to wait till you are accepted in both options. If you play a already created comic character (spider-man, batman etc.), then you have the choice to create a character profile in the sub-board: "Non Made-Up Character Info". You don't have to though. If you have any questions, pm me or if it's a major problem post it in the suggestions, problems and comments board.

If you want to play an existing comic character. Audition for the role of the character here. The audition is just a short sample of your rolplaying with the character you're trying out for. Once your character is accepted, you can start roleplaying.

This is my audition for the Human Torch:
Johnny Storm pulled up to the curb in his new red Mercedes Benz and parked the car. He was parked out side Kelly's house. Johny got so many fan letters. A lot from girls begging to go out with him. So after three letters and two naked pictures sent from Kelly, he decided to ask her out.
Johnny took some candy and flowers from the passenger seat and got out of the car. He slammed the door shut, then got on his knees and checked his hair and teeth in the mirror. "Beautiful as always."
He walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Three minutes later, Kelly answered the door. She was in a towel and had a towel rapped around her hair, "Oh, Johnny. Just one second." And she slammed the door shut before Johnny had a chance to say something.
For ten minutes Johnny stood at the door waiting with the flowers in one hand, and the candy in the other until he crouched down and sat on the ground against the door. Johnny was used to this though. Before he was waiting three hours.
An hour and twenty minutes later, Johnny heard someone at the door so he quickly stood up again. The door opened and there was Kelly, "Sorry to keep you waiting, Johnny." "No problem, you're defintley worth the wait," Johnny replied, "Here I got you some flowers and candy." He handed her the candy and the flowers. "Oh thanks Johnny. I'll just leave them here until I get back," and she left them on a table near the front door.
Later on in a restaraunt, Johnny and Kelly were halfway through their main course. "So, Kelly, how would you like to go see a movie next? Then maybe you'd wanna come back to my place?" "Oh, of course Johnny," answered Kelly and she started giggling.
Then Johnny saw a car speeding by and police cars chasing after it, "Oh crap. I gotta go for a second. I'll be back soon." "Yes, of course. Go get him."
Johnny ran out the door and through the window, Kelly could see him light up in flames and fly off after the car.
Ten minutes later, Kelly saw him land outside the window and the flames dissapear. He walked into the restaurant and sat in his seat, "Now, where were we?"

Spider-Man vs Doctor Octopus
Peter Parker walked out of the Daily Bugle with his book bag on his back, the time was 5:30 pm and Pete has just gotten off work. When Peter see's a alley way across the street he makes sure the coast was clear and then changes into his Spider-Man suit''Man what a long day I need a vacation, so where nice no body but me Aunt May and Mary Jane, maybe the president should make a month vacation for super heroes every year now that would be cool''thought Spider-Man pulling down his mask over his face and and placed his normal cloths inside his book bag.
''But then I guess the villains of NY will come out that day and wreck havoc every year when that month comes''he thought as he started climbing up the building with his back pack on. But then as he reached the rooftop ledge he stood there for a moment and looked down at the city below him''Oy! who am kuidding super heroes aren't suppose to have vactions even if I our life I don't know totally sucks with the mask on''he added in thoughts, as he started running across the rooftop with amazing speed jumping over things that might slow him down like it was nothing. When he finally reached the ledge to the other side of the building he started web slinging.
Spider-Man then heard very loud screams coming from a crtauin area below him''What the?''Spider-Man asked as he leaped into the air and spinned another web heading towards the bucn of screams direction. As Spider-Man gets closer to the area he see's people running not jsut jogging but running away from something, when Spidey looks to his side slightly he see's Doc Ock''Ut oh this can't be good a crazy deranged Doctor with two big bags of money in his hands what could go wrong''thought Spider-Man sarcastically as he landed on the side of a buidling that was about 3 stories high over Ock's head and looked down and saw Doctor Octopus walking on his robotic tenactles with two huge bags of money in all the rest of the four his hands, and the ones that he weren't walking on''Hey Otto you planning on sharing some of that with me you greedy goose''Spider-Man said as he shot two webs at the bags of money and pulled it out of Otto's robotic arms.
And then pulled the bag onf money all the way to him and caught them both''Why thank you Otto I didn't know you cared''Spider-Man said sarcastically. Otto frowned, then chuckled abit''Well well well if it isn't my friend The Amazing Spider-Man''Otto said with a evil smirk.''I think you mean The SPECTACULAR Spider-Man just cut out the 'friend' afterwards m'kay''said Spider-Man''HEY YOU THIEF THAT'S THE BANKS MONEY!!''A cop yelled below Spidey. Spider-Man then looked down''No I'm not the thief you got the wrong guy take a look at the crazy guy with those metal arms strapped to his back''said Spider-Man as he droped the bags of money at there feet. Spider-Man's spider senses then started to go off, and when Spider-Man looked back up to see Ock Otto's tenacltes went straight at his face.
Sending Spider-Man right threw the building he was on and hitted a dinner table where three family members were eating''Um sorry about that''said Spider-Man as he got up slowly and jumped out of the hole he was knocked threw, landing ontop of a car''Web slinging fool you have no idea who your dealing with''Otto said as he lauched one of his tenactles right at Spider-Man again. Spider caught it just before it could his his face and jumped over it''Hmmmm let me guess Doctor Strange, Doctor Phil or the guys but I've been kicking ever since I was a kid''Spider-Man said sarcastically as he ,moved Otto's tenactle out the way ran up to Doc Ock and uppercutted him
''Come on Doc don't tell me you've been getting sloppy since our last fight you really suck now ya know that''Spider-Man said as he punched Otto again and Otto hitted the ground hard''Girrrr I'm losing my phaience with you little spider''said Otto as he threw all four robotic arms at Spider-Man.''Really your losing your phaienceman you must be a loosy Doctor Ock''said Spider-Man using his great acrobactic skills to jump straight over the tenactles before they hitted him and drop kicked Otto''Aw man that had to hurt''Spidey said as Doctor Octopus fell to the ground out cold''Well another job well done thanks to your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man....and I do love saying that''said Spider-Man as he looked up into the sky and saw a shield helicopter coming down to pick up the trash and Spidey just smirked.

Hmm. That was good like role-playing but the grammar was awful. You should work on your grammar. Bad grammar can make people not want to read your posts. But don't worry your accepted. Congratulations. Have fun role-playing. Just remember to work on your grammar.

My audition for Carnage:
Carnage stood in the middle of the bar. The room was filled with dead bodies. Carnage was as happy as a five year old who just got a toy car, no a room full of toy cars. "Oh wasn't that just so much fun? I should definitely do that again." Then Carnage looked down at a dead body at his feet. He wrapped one of his tendrils around the dead body's head and pulled it up towards him breaking it off the neck. "Do you think I should do this again sometime, heady?" Carnage opened and closed the head's jaw with his hand and said in a fake voice, "Yes of course. It was such a great idea. Only next time, we should find a place with more peo..." Carnage stopped when he heard the ringing of a cell phone, "It seems we forgot somebody, didn't we, heady?"
Tina was scared as hell. She had just gone to the bathroom. Then when she came out she had saw this thing, this slimy, red, demonic looking thing rip a head of some poor man. Then she had saw the thing kill the three other remaining people. She was crawling behind a couch towards the door. She had to get out of here. Back to her husband, Joe and her new baby, Georgia. The thing started talking. At first Tina thought, it had saw her and was saying something but no. It was talking to itself. It was crazy. Then her cell phone started ringing.
Carnage walked over to the couch near the door, "Come out, come out wherever you are?" Carnage looked behind the couch, where the cell phone ringing had come from and saw a woman, looked like she was in her twenties, crouched against the wall, her arms wrapped around her legs.
"Please," she begged, "If you have any mercy, let me go? Please." "Why? Don't you want to play with me? Of course you do."
Carnage picked up the cell phone which was still ringing and answered it. "Hello," a voice on the cell phone said. "Oh hello who might you be." "I'm Joe. Where's Tina?" "Oh I'm sorry Joe. Tina can't come to the phone right now on account of her about to be killed. But you can try calling back soon. She might be available but I wouldn't count on it," Carnage said and then threw the phone to the ground.
Then all that was heard was the sound of Carnage laughing manically, Joe on the cell phone shouting and the screams of mercy from Tina until the screams had disappeared.

Audition for X-man.
X-man walked in the streets with a grin on his face. Time to cause total destruction. He looked out at the cars driving on the highway. With his mind he lifted all three and smashed them against a building. Screams were heard, good, a police truck came and pulled over out of there car with guns. "Surennder or we shoot!" Yelled a cop. X-man grinned and lifted the guns out of there hands and shot them. More screams as the police fell to the ground dead. Panic was heard throughout the town, X-man loved this.

My audition for Ghost rider:
:John Blaze is heading down highway 81 followed by 2 semi's and a large tour bus with his name in flames down the side of it. The Quentin Carnival, freaks and fortune tellers, Games and rides, all rolled into one. The only life John Blaze has ever known. He thinks to himself "Jeez, got this world record jump of 320 ft coming up in a few weeks and in Madison Square Garden of all places and on the aniversary of Crash's accident...not to mention I have to catch up with Dan's mom. She has been in the hospital, damn she has since his death. Cant blame her though with the death of Barbara then Dan. I hope I am willing to see the place where Roxanne died and my kids disappeared. Damn I hate bringing that up I searched over and over to find them and could only come up with the fact that they are dead too. Even with the help of Jennifer Kale my cousin recommended by Strange himself we couldnt find a trace of them just dead ends. Its a suprise I didnt end up in a psyche ward. Just face it Blaze you are alone probally should have never married Roxanne. Shit! knew that i would never be rid of this curse...but we did have some very good years...I wonder knowing what we know now would she have married me?
Just then a crackle came over the two way radio in his helmet.: "John its Mack just letting you know we are hitting the next rest stop to get some grub and sleep...you gonna join us?" :John pushes a button on the side of his helmet: "No Mack you know better than that i dont sleep well these days I am going to continue on and get to New York by morning and get the paper work squared away this way when you all get there we can begin set up." :a few seconds of crackle then a response: "K John but Clara's been having visions again and says you need to be careful." :John reaches up and pushes the talk button: "Tell Clara I will be fine its all the monsters out there who should watch out for me."

Good. Could be a bit longer. But the general role-playing is very good.

My Audtions
Character: Logan AKA Wolverine Location: New York City Plot: New York is under attack in the hands of Sentinels, (Again.)
Logan was walking on the streets of New York, that was under a riot due to the Sentinel's destruction. "What a dump." Logan said, staring around for any sight of Sentinels. He walked pass people that were carrying torches, throwing them through store windows. Suddenly, he can hear screams and people rushing from around the corner in fear. Logan rises his hands up and throws them down, revealing his claws. Logan rushes around the corner to encounter a huge Sentinel.
"Mutant Found." The Sentinel said, staring in the eyes of Logan. "You want a piece of me, then you got it!". Logan charged at the Sentinel, jumping up to it's head, stabbing it in the face repeatedly and recklessly. Logan kicks the Sentinel's head off then hops off behind the Sentinel. Logan walked forward. With the Sentinel behind him, exploding to oblivion. "That was easier then I thought." Logan smirked. A huge explosion goes off behind Logan sending him flying forward, down to the payment. Logan turned around to witness 2 Sentinel's with there left hand, thrusted forward. "You'll regret that!" Logan shouted, hopping to his feet. Logan charged at them, as the Sentinels fired missles at him. Logan sidestepped the missles jumping towards Sentinel #1, plunging his claws into it to hang on. Sentinel #2 turned towards Sentinel #1 and fired a missle at Logan -Who was hanging onto the Sentinel #1 robotic chest, with his claws still plunged into the Sentinel-. Logan jumped off Sentinel #1 onto the Sentinel #2. Sentinel #1 explodes from the missiles, that Sentinel #2 fired. Logan climbed his way up the Sentinel to stab it recklessly in the face. He hops off the Sentinel, and rushes into an alley.
"This Sentinels don't give up." Logan peeked around the corner, but didn't see nothing. He turned his head into the dark alley to see something up ahead. He walked forward and looked on the ground, seeing some clothes. He bend down and picked up a yellow/blue mask. The yellow/blue mask repesents his old style, when he use to wear a costume in the 80s or 90s. He picks up the gloves and walks off, as he puts them on.
He later appeared ontop of a roof, staring down at the destroyed New York. "I am no longer Logan..I am Wolverine!" Wolverine said. Wolverine fell off the roof down ontop of a Sentinel, stabbing it in the face until it fell to the ground. He hopped off the Sentinel, and walks off with fire, explosions, and people screaming behind him..
(Sorry, if sloppy. It did it in the morning, and just woke up..lol.)

Excellent. Great. I love the way I can get a clear picture in my head of what's happening from reading your post. If that's you role-playing sloppingly I can't wait to see you roleplay unsloppingly.

My Auditions Name: Doom {Victor Von Doom}
The Rain was getting heavier as night dragged on, with shouts and bullets thundering through the crowd of what used to be Latveria.
Only a few villagers remained, one who was a small boy. the sight of death and smell of decay filled the air. The shouts slowly stopped as did the firing of bullets, the only thing that was heard was heavy downpour of raindrops the size of golfballs. In the foreground The young boy is seen in sitting on what looked like rotting bodies rocking back and forth while mumbling something in an unknown language.
10 years later...
Having forgotten about his childhood Victor recently got a schloarship at Empire State University, we see him next to another young man named Reed Richards inside of there dorm.
"Victor your layout on this machine is totally insane and wrong if you'll let me help you I coul..."
Victor then cut Reed off
"You feeble minded American, what makes you think that you can come and try to change my calculations and help me, I make no mistakes, I can't afford to make a mistake Richards, alright so leave me to my work or you shall get more then you asked for."
Later that night alone in his dorm Doom starts the machine and slowly talks to himself.
"Me make a mistake, the Brillant Victor Von Doom, who does Richards think he is to judge my intellect."
The machine then malfuntions exploding in Victors Face.

My audition for Venom:
Eddie was walking around the city. "No no no. How could this happen? Parker! He did this he stole my girl, got me fired, and now I have nothing." It started raining so Eddie went into the chapel. He started praying, and he prayed for the death of Peter Parker. Just then he heard the bell ringing and screaming. He went to check it out. "Parker!" He had just found out spider-man was Peter. He looked closely and saw something drop, and it landed on him. He quickly brushed it away, but more came down and it engulfed him in darkness.
"This power is great." Eddie said...not Eddie anymore Venom! He Tried out his new powers. "Now. Now I can finally kill Parker." He started swinging around then he thought why not try out my powers and he busted open the door to the bank. He told everyone to get down then he told the guards to put the all the money in a bag and hand it to him. They did what he said and then he ran away. Venom heard sirens behind him and turned around and smashed a squadcar with his arm and threw it into another one.
He continued running then spider-man came and kicked him in the face. "Hello spidey or should I say Peter." "Who are you asked Peter and how do you know who I am?" Peter asked. Venom removed his mask and said "It's me. Eddie or I was Eddie now it's Venom." he said then he jumped at Spider-man and punched him in the face. Spidey webbed him up but he broke it and used the symbiote to web Spidey up then throw him off the building. Spider-man landed and looked around he couldn't find Venom then he broke the webbing. "Man he's stronger than me and has stronger webbing. How am I gonna stop him?" All of a sudden he was hit from behind and was knocked down. Spidey looked around but couldn't find him he disappeared. "How come my spidey sense didn't work? This is worse than I thought."

Nick Fury saw the Hydra spy steal a sky racer and immediatly take off from the airstrip on top of the hellicarrier.
Five days ago, SHIELD had announced a new agent to their ranks, Tom Foors. Tom Foors had been a former C.I.A agent and had applied for a job at SHIELD. Due to his background he had been accepted almost straight away. There were file checks done but they all came out fine.
Two hours ago, one of the SHIELD Agents at the computers started getting suspicious. They did some more checks. Looked into his background some more. Tom Foors was a real person. Only he had died. That's what made it so easy for him to create the fake files. Most of it was real. Only not his. Just some changes here there. Some more checking. He was a Hydra agent undercover. To find some documents. To fool SHIELD, Hydra must have had technology superior to theirs, well almost.
Three minutes ago, they started looking for Agent Foors when they figured out everything. He was to be taken into custody immediatley. There were no alarms set. There was just a small team of five agents assembled led by Nick Fury.
They came across the Hydra agent coming out of the bathroom. "Oh hello," the Hydra agent said and when he noticed the small armed team, "Is something going on?" Then all the SHIELD agents aimed their guns at the Hydra agent and Nick Fury said, "Put your hand on your head. We don not wish to harm you. You will be taken into custody. Do not attempt anything. My SHIELD agents are ready to fire." The Hydra agent cursed and started putting his hands on his head, looking like he was going to give up. Then all of a sudden he reached for his jeans and pulled out two small guns. He shot three agents in the head, instantly killing them and shouted, "Heil Hydra!" And he started running.
Nick Fury followed him up to the landing and docking bay to see him steal a sky racer and fly off. The two agents who weren't dead ran up then and stopped next to Fury. "Sorry sir. We should of taken him down," one agent said. "Sorry," Nick Fury said, "What for? Then he turned around and pressed a button on a small control panel. He started walking away as the sky racer self-destructed in the air behind him.
